Just a simple dinner for 100...
My youngest son's graduation party was held on May 26th.
Tables and chairs were rented. Some chair backs were covered with the graduate's favorite t-shirts.
T-shirts from his elementary school years
Momentos from his high school years.
Tablecloths and mortarboard confetti in the graduate's future school's colors - gold and maroon representing the University of Minnesota
Globe pencil sharpeners were placed on the tables to indicate the guest of honor's interest in geography
Sign stating "It means the world to me that you're here!" and asking that guests sign the world atlas in lieu of a guest book. (The graduate studied geography frequently as a participant in Knowledge Bowl.)
The cake, bars, and ice cream punch
Rest of menu included fresh fruit, carrots with dip, five cup salad, a taco bar and turkey enchiladas
The graduate and me!
The graduate and sister (she graduates next year!)
Greeting his guests
Tortilla chips with a variety of salsas
