Fiesta!

Using colorful Fiesta dinnerware is a no-brainer when celebrating Cinco de Mayo.

The tablecloth is a licensed Fiesta design.

My Blessings Blocks from Blessings, Unlimited, announce the celebration.

Cinco de Mayo

This is a Cinco de Mayo table I created for a local Tour of Tables fundraiser several years ago.  There's lots going on here.  These are some of the highlights:

Jarritos sodas, sold at our local Mexican restaurant and grocery stores;
Mini-maracas, chili pepper swizzle sticks, cactus margarita glasses,  and "Ole" napkins purchased from www.orientaltrading.com;
Mexican print fabric purchased from JoAnn Fabrics, cut into squares, and placed over chair backs in triangle shapes to look like little ponchos/serapes;
Two Mexican blankets purchased on ebay were crisscrossed and placed on the table in lieu of tablecloths;
Large sombrero bowl in center of the table holds multi-colored tortilla chips;
Colorful Jelly Belly jelly beans were placed in a periwinkle Fiesta gusto bowl;
Many Fiesta dinnerware pieces were used in the place settings and as accessory pieces; and
Gerbera daisies are the perfect floral accent for this colorful table.

OLE!
