Down on the Farm

This John Deere bucket was the inspiration for my farm-themed table.

Yellow and green bandana napkins anchor the centerpiece.

This enamel coffee pot was my mom's.  I discovered it when we were cleaning out dad's storage unit and couldn't part with it.

My dad farmed with John Deere implements.

Shamrock dinner plate, sunflower luncheon plate and lemongrass berry bowl (some marigold pieces were also used on the table)

Shamrock Fiesta dishes are almost a perfect match for the green in John Deere ads.

Canning jars stand in as drinking glasses in this casual country setting.  Plain white napkins were simply tied around flatware.

Fake flowers and greens were added to the coffee pot to complete the focal point of the table.

Autumn Leaves

A pack of pretty autumn-leaf themed napkins I got from a friend for my birthday (thanks, Bethany!) inspired my latest tablescape.

My fall decorations came out of storage for the occasion - leaves, pumpkins and scarecrows.

Fiestaware in shades of tangerine, paprika, lemongrass, shamrock, chocolate, marigold and sunflower were pressed into service, along with some green glass luncheon plates of unknown origin.

Love the carved wooden ghost pumpkin shown above!

Poppies!

CAUGHT CHEATING

Okay, this isn't a complete tablescape, but I was so excited about my latest find I couldn't wait to use it.  I found these pretty little poppy plates on the clearance rack at a local gift shop for $1.25 each.  I used a Fiesta flamingo (Fiesta's newest color release) dinner plate, a lemongrass luncheon plate, and a sunflower bread and butter plate to complement the poppy plate.  This would look gorgeous on a vintage tablecloth...and the search begins!
