A few years ago I went to a garage sale because I thought I'd find some Fiesta dinnerware for sale there. There wasn't any Fiesta but I bought a partial set of watermelon dishes for $10. The dishes were marked "Cracker Barrel 1996" and served as the inspiration for this "One in a Melon" tablescape.
I found more watermelon themed table accessories and used my Fiesta seamist green and juniper dishes. The small watermelon slice dishes on the dinner plates are appetizer plates I found at a local drug/gift shop.
I first created this tablescape for a luncheon that was held during a Garden Tour fundraiser in my town.
